Nice. I agree and have said for the last 7 days that Nick's pride will prevent him from leaving. I think he's ashamed right now, and has a point to prove next year. The greatest thing I take from the link and article you provided is him saying his need to reevaluate his assistants... in my mind, this means MULARKEY. Proves Saban is paying attention and knows what's up.

40 mill is an arbitrary #, and simple guessing via reporters "sources". But if you were a prideful man as Nick is, what's more important, 25 or 30 million and keeping your word and promise and fulfilling your personal and professional goal... or 40 million and running away?
Salguero of the Miami Herald has been the #1 guy perpetuating the possibility of Nick's leaving... he is the one who keeps reporting these ansurd #'s for a 'Bama contract. But now he says that Nick says he'll stay and "how much money does 1 guy need?" Sounds like a reporter putting his gear into reverse, and covering both sides of his butt.

I just heard an ugly rumor that Saban has already been planning out his assistants at Alabama. He has been meeting in secret concerning his coaches and it will make or break his decision...
They said that he was going to offer JT the defensive coordinator position, ZT the linebackers and special teams coach, ricky williams the running back coach, mike mularkey the offensive coordinator, and big daddy Dan W will need to be the d line coach. If these guys accept the positions then Saban is surely gone.
