This decision just adds credence to the notion that Ross isn't wanting to make a chance until season's end. This could be one LONG season.
 
That's exactly what I expected from a team of losers from top to bottom. Probably giving Ross too much credit that he is setting up the next regime with the top pick.

But zero complaints from me......season's over, so we may as well be talking about Luck and the 2012 draft. Wish we could fast forward to April already.

What would be the point of a mid season firing?

A new coach might spark them to get some meaningless wins.

I think we should keep them so we maximize the losses...

Many fans are already on board for more losses...People are ok with losses.

Fans are not ok with watching heartless, backward moving , garbage.
 
This team has no heart, no discipline and no motivation. fist pumping after field goal is a frigging embarassment. Fire him and let Fergie and Serena coach them, at least we can look at something better jumping up and down after every field goal.

i dont know about many on here, but columbo playing better than our defense in total.
 
yeah, bring in herm edwards for a short stint. at least he could give the players that funky look on the sideline like he is coaching pee wee's,

This season is over.

THe post season requires a massive cleaning of Parcells trash.
 
After the Harbaugh debacle, and the extension of Sparano during that charade of a media conference with Ross and Ireland....it'd be a complete disaster to get rid of Sparano. We already look terrible and HAVE looked terrible. No need to make a bad situation worse. We made our bed with Sparano this year, we're sleeping in it.

But that's just this year. The real question is, does Ireland join Sparano in the unemployment line at the end of the season? He's just as responsible for this train-wreck as Sparano.

Ross did know what he was doing when he was trying to get him.
 
My emotions tell me that Sparano should be fired ASAP because he has regressed so badly since the miracle turn around in his first year, but would that really benefit this franchise? It's not like you are going to bring in a big name coach while in season, so what's the point? Better off sucking it up, getting a high draft pick and bring in a new coach and system that can change this culture of losing.
 
i feel like us dolfans are ****roaches being exterminated. unfortunately its a slow painful death. maybe these rumors of dolphins to LA arent so bogus.
