Wow, that's a lot of money. Houston needs him more than any other position...they signed Jason Allen for goodness sakes.

True but New York is the largest media market in the U.S. and what he doesn't have to pay in taxes living in Houston he can more than make up for in endorsements living in New York.

Houston pretty much said they'd give him whatever he wanted, and the Jets really can't offer that much. Plus, NFLN said if they gave Nnamdi a big contract, Revis would request a new one.

But with Revis, I doubt the Jets are crying too much.

You think b/c of a report that we don't have a chance? even if we don't get him we still have one of the best teams in the league and will compete for the AFC title.

I would guess that is the reason but never count out Tannenbaum and Rex.
 
If they Jets got Ashomuga would be pretty big for them...Losing him would not be huge tho..Cromartie would likley come back to Ny if they dont get him..He played pretty well from them last year...Would save face too since they gave up a 2nd for him... Texans are going to be very dangerous with Nnamdi and Wade Philips..Could see them stealing that division.

On paper yes, but who is bringing up anything about the "best teams in the league?" we are talking about acquiring Nnamdi here. The Jets are still going to want to pay Braylon Edwards....don't see that happening now, and the Texans can outbid the Jets for Nnamdi as they have more money to spend. Ssme with the 49ers and Bucs, for that matter.

I wouldn't call it stealing the division. As long as Schaub stays healthy, that team is absolutely loaded.
