Source: Texans in the lead for Asomugha

You think b/c of a report that we don't have a chance? even if we don't get him we still have one of the best teams in the league and will compete for the AFC title.

I would guess that is the reason but never count out Tannenbaum and Rex.

I don't expext Asomugha to hear anything Rex says. I mean, how much credibility does a guy have guaranteeing 2 super bowls and not getting there? Ahh yes Rex, the sweet smell of defeet

If Peyton Manning doesn't recover from his neck injury they would be the favorite IMO.

The Colts seem to get less talented and more injury prone each year. Take Manning away, and you're talking about a 3-13 team. The Texans had a great draft, and that D should be much improved - especially if this goes down. Their offense is already scary good. I don't know that Indi can hang with their talent - with or without Manning.

i actually dont care if they (jets) get namdi. that just means they have no other options of signing anyone else. they have holmes on offense. with a mediocre running game. if im not mistaken, they're front seven on d isnt too dominant. bart scott is more talk than play. sure their secondary would be crazy, but they would have alot of holes elsewhere.

Where would these holes be exactly? We don't really have holes if we don't get Aso, the only real weakness is we lack a pass rusher but w/ the scheme it still creates pressure.

im so sick of hearing about the jets organization.

I undrestand, I'd be sick of Miami if they were having playoff success every year and were one of the elite teams in the sport so I feel your pain.

dont call it success until you win the superbowl.

Yeah, and the heat also had "success" in this years playoff aswell.Ohh wait NO they didn't.They CHOKED just like the jets did and did NOT win it all..I'm calling it now,you will NOT get Nnamdi and will NOT make the playoffs,Mark Sanchez will have his worst season & Red will be the hot color for fall.

One of the best teams? Come on

Someone on another forum listed the games the jets won last yr where they had no business winning. Cleve (ex jet fumbles in OT on Jets 35yd line), Det (suh missing an extra point), Denver (ref calls pass interference on 5yd line with less than a minute left), there was another game but I cant remember it at the moment. As long as you have Sanchez, Dolphins fans have nothing to worry about. You have Greene as your rb, an unproven guy right now, LT is done. Defensively you have an overrated Bart Scott and Pace. Only guys on def you guys have are Revis, Harris and Leonard. The rest are nothing to brag about. Luck has to run out sooner or later.

in 2009 you had the colts lay down for you to get you into the playoffs so stop being the typical jets fan, I see too many of them living in NY. Most ignorant fans I've ever met.

at the end of the day your superior team was on the couch watching the superbowl too buddy and as far as houston wanting nmandi they wanted him bad i live in houston and i think that he would be a big part of their puzzle. but were still gonna beat them when we play them cause miami is that team!

elite team? Green Bay, Pitt, New England, colts, maybe even baltimore (recent superbowl victory)! Thanks for the laugh...and no we are not elite and neither are the jets!

my pain?

I have no pain. ive watched miami win 2 superbowls and make it to 5 of them. You probably werent old enough to watch the 1969 lone superbowl jets win. I want to find one logical jets fan in my lifetime. Just admit you guys were lucky in both 09 and 2010. Good team, mostly due to Rex, roster wise, just average in my eyes. You have a good oline and revis. Where is your running game? Linebackers besides Harris? DLine? Dont even go there. haha. cotchery? another joke. Holmes is very good. I do admit good and bad, something I havent found in one jets fan yet and I lived in ny all my life.
