How does a team that makes the title game in back to back years(2 years in a row) get labeled as a 1 year wonder?

A 1 year wonder would be the 2008 Miami Dolohins who had an easier path to the playoffs than we did w/ Indy sitting starters for just a qtr and a half.

Elite is when a team dominates the playoffs year in and year out and wins some superbowls. In 2008, yes we had an easy schedule and went 11-5, beating the jets 2x that year. The last game of season beating favre at giants stadium was so gratifying. You remember right? The qb that would put you guys into the sb? LMAO. Every year its the same **** with you fans. Even if you get this cb, you're not going to sb, trust me. Still too many better teams than the jets in afc. That 11-5 yr was a farce and hurt us with our draft pick the next year. that was year 1 in our rebuilding process and that was the last thing we needed but it was great listening to the jets fans booing favre and cheering for dolphins late in game. When you can make it to sb 5x and win 2 then you can post on this forum.

yes, we are a ONE year wonder that was the only team to reach the Title game each of the last TWO years.

A part of me would kind of like to see them sign Nmandi for fair market value... I would like to see who they think could go without - I see zero pass rush unless they blitz again -

We haven't had a big pass rusher the last 2 years, it hasn't hurt us. W/ 2 lockdown corners taking away the 2 top WRs it will give Rex more flexibility to blitz, we generate a pass rush and we get to the QB. It may not always be a sack but we pressure the QB into bad decisions which may be more important than a sack.
