would make work go by a little bit faster thats for sure, im sick of this suspense

Yep, Good news indeed.

Honestly, why would anyone WANT to go to the Saints?

I know the money is there, but, still.....The franchise is
in disarray, the owner is a putz, not to mention that
whole area is still devastated.

My take is that if Drew wants to go to the Saints, hey
he's got no interest in winning, so, he's not the guy we
want anyway.

I think this whole mess over the last two days is a big
smokescreen.

He prefers Miami, his friends and family are also telling him to sign with the Dolphins. I just think this will work out in our favor. :)

saban is a hardass, hes going to get the qb he wants on his terms

I think alot of people are just selfish over this whole ordeal. I do not think money is the only thing on Brees' mind and people reacted to what they heard through the media, which is a big fat mistake based on what we know in how they work.

I simply think Brees is sleeping on this decision. If he chooses NO, god bless him. He makes them a better team. We will continue to build our team and show the world that Miami is the place to be. It only makes the draft that much better IMO and I think it is NO who is making the mistake here and not Drew Brees should he sign with them.

"However, there is some concern that he might not play this season.
New York Jets quarterback Chad Pennington and former No. 1 overall pick Tim Couch have struggled to come back from similar injuries."

You would think they would at least do a little homework on what they write about:shakeno: But hey, it's all about the drama right. :D

Yeah from the sound of the article he is going to be ours in a matter of hours. I'm sure we'll come up with close to what NO is offering in guaranteed money. I'll just be glad when this is all over and we have a legitimate QB and all the unregistered users will leave the site and it will work properly.

well one sure fire miss on Pennington is that he came back to play that year and that was a mistake. Brees has been sidelined and is rehabing and based on what I have heard, the rotator cuff thing is not a huge tear but a little one. He will heal it I am sure in the right manner. Meanwhile, Saban and co. are checking him out anyways so I will trust them instead of John Clayton or anyone else for that matter.

penny played n the playoffs with his injuries, i give the man some props, sacraficed his career for a shot at the ring, i respect him

I registered within the last few days. I've been coming to the site for a while I just finally decided to start talking. So I guess I can't bag on the unregistered guys. But I am hopeful that we'll have our QB soon.

By the way, that may be the single coolest picture of Chris Chambers I have ever seen.

This may help those of you who are worried about Brees:

In 1985, Dr. James Andrews fixed a small tear in the rotator cuff that belongs to the pitching arm of Roger Clemens. Some 4300 strikeouts, 325 wins, 20 seasons, 7 Cy Young Awards, 1 MVP Award, and 2 championships later, his career may or may not be over. We'll see how he feels after the World Baseball Classic.

Brees had a small rotator cuff tear, is seeing Dr. James Andrews, has the benefit of 21 years of surgical advancements, and doesn't have to throw 90-100 baseballs at speeds in the 90s every 5 days.

Not to be a nay-sayer, because I like what you're saying. But Roger Clemens also doesn't have to deal with huge, sculpted linebackers and massive hulking lineman that are trying to do him bodily harm on a weekly basis.

the labrum is the major issue not the rotato cuff. he may even be able to mprove hs cuff strength, but thats not possible with the labrum, whch isnt muscle if i understand correctly
