Sources: Dolphins are on Mannings "short list" of teams he would play for

I really though everyone on this board would gladly welcome Peyton...

He's cleared to play ,so why not get the best QB in the league.

Three great yrs, while grooming a youngster is the perfect solution..

I know some say with just our luck he will play poor, but what are the
chances with a STAR LT, STAR WR, and STAR RB. Along with our great defense he would lead us deep
into the playoffs.

Our fans are due for glory years ,and I believe in the best QB of all time as our best chance..

GO FINS!!!

Some are deathly afraid of any risk whatsoever. Stick to the safe OL pick and draft a QB at a bargain price.

Damn you. Now we're cursed.

I'm starting to like the thought of Manning. Keep Moore as insurance (obv) and maybe Tannehill, or would we take the wait til a later draft to find a young guy? I feel like if we want Tannehill, it will have to be in the 2nd, and it'd be nice to spend that pick on a playmaker or a different need

Getting Tannehill would be a fantastic situation...give a big, athletic guy like that a few years behind Peyton, a la Aaron Rodgers, and there's our guy for years to come

Short list, eh? .... like Fisher's short list? ... that was a blatant negotiating ploy?

I find it hard to believe Manning thinks we'll take him to the Superbowl!! Many here might think that, but Manning doesn't!!

I wouldn't know what to do if I had to play using Madden. It would be weird not worrying about the qb position....

I understand we are looking for a long term solution, and I'm tired of signing old qbs, but this is Peyton F-ing Manning. If he can play, sign him up

What people fail to realize is what manning would do for the organization on a image front. If healthy, he immediately would undo all the years of stupid decisions and return the fins to credibility. That is almost as important as what he does on the field. If healthy.....GET MANNING period!!!!
