He's going to be the 3rd string QB this year and he already knows the offense from Texas A&M. If it were that freaking important for him to sign the Dolphins would have already dropped their ham fisted and ill advised attempt to include the offset language into Tannehill's contract. "Oh, Ryan, the team needs you here now, come quickly. By the way, if you're a bust we want some of your money back."

Same old bull****, different year, different decade. The FO and Ross should stfu, drop the offset language and sogn if if it was so freaking important to get him into camp asap- it isn't. Tannehill is on the easy roast, slow bake program. He's raw, and barring injuries to Moore and Garrard he isn't starting anytime soon.

This is all just business. He will get plenty of one on one time, and that is something he won't get at camp. He isn't our starter, so it isn't imperative that he be there. This camp has been featured a couple of times before, and seems to be one hell of place. Tanne will get there in time to play in the first game. The important thing is that he does what he can to improve while this contract thing drags on.

No but Ross sure as hell does! Maybe Hard Knocks needs a protest. There is reason to bicker over language in the scheme of things the guarantee is small compared to what a qb selected 8th overall use to be. Seriously they have already agreed to 4yrs 12.6 mil that is nothing to guarantee considering they paid Grove 15 mil to go away. This is the face of the franchise! The future stop tripping over dollars to save pennies.

IMO his agent has little choice. When all the 1st round picks around the player the agent represents doesn't have offset language in their contracts and the agent can't get his client a contract without it then the agent might as well kiss future 1st round clients goodbye.

The only dumbass imo is a GM who once again appears to miss the big picture.
