Blake Mitchell has been out of the game for the game****s and Freshman Chris Smelley has been consistent so far. SC- 3 Miss st. - 0

go Game****s! i'll take the road win in the SEC, but man do we have a ways to go. glad to see the D step up, though im not sure MSU is a powerhouse on offense. if Ko Simpson or Jonathan Joseph would have stayed around, USC's secondary would be insanely good, with Fred Bennett back there too.

sidebar: the new rules on starting the clock as soon as the ball is set on a possession change is ridiculous. the play clock was running while they were still shuttling in players on TURNOVERS. that aint right.

Miss. State Offense is very very poor. However I could not decide wheter it was great defense or poor offense. Hmmm will have to wait and see

Combination of the two IMO. MSU's defense looked pretty good.

I thought both defenses looked great. MSU's DE's are looked fantastic!

SC's? He's the the one that caught my eye. Excellent attacking the run. Great angles and technique, not to mention the ability to fight off blockers.

Actually I was referring to MSU's, he was everywhere and had a great INT right at the start.
