I think you should write an article on something else, because game attendance has actually increased during this recession. You wont be able to find any hard data to support your thoery that sales are low due to the economy, but you may be able to make the argument that sales should have increased at a greater rate than they actually did. I personallly think that NFL games are a niche market, and people who normally go to NFL games (and I'm not talking about that guy who goes to 1 game every 5 years) will only cut them from thier budget at an exteme last resort.
Historically, attendance at Sun Life Stadium has always been low - Marlins, Hurricanes, and Dolphins games.
