at what point do excuses for an inexperianced coach or player ring hollow?
Tony is half-way though his second season as HC and he has not shown any growth.
more often than not we have been outcoached in the second half
more often than not, time outs have been used horribly. what % of coaches ALWAYS use a time-out for a 4th and short decision?
more often than not a rediculous offensive play call has been allowed to stand
in Ted Ginns 3rd friggin year the excuses and hopes kept flowing despite there being absolutely no empirical evidence that dude could run a route, make a catch or show courage.
now we have the head coach embarassing us in his 28th real game, repeating the same mistakes
its ok to make mistakes, but show some signs that you are learning and becoming HC material. an NFL HC is like a CEO, he is big picture. I don't need a cheerleader and a screamer, I need a game manager. look at Rex Ryan, dude is co-ordinator material. he doesn't know how to act. I insist on holding Sparano to the same standards I hold Ryan.
I hope I am wrong, maybe Tony's 3rd year will be the charm. Penny is gone and now the game management is down to him and his stupid minions
