Biggane stated that earlier in the day he attended a presser with head coach Tony Sparano and that Sparano was asked that very question. His reply? Columbo wasn’t the problem with the offensive line. If that is the case, then what is the problem with the offensive line?

Parcells is a meathead, and so are the two guys he hired to run the joint.

Hes not going to throw his player under the bus, but putting a TE on his side To block nearly everyplay speak volumes...

maybe if we pour more hot oil in his eyes it'll give him a superpower with involves a brain?

Why not switch Carey back, or even Garner? Columbo is not only not a strenght, he's a liability and a huge one at that. If we had even an average RT we could have an extra receiver, or splitbacks, or whatever...

ETA: It's not just about the political answer, it's about the stubborness in leaving him in the lineup.

Exactly, and I think its also why we have not thrown the ball as much...

As far as what Tony says? The guy has not credibility what so ever..If Tony said you had a good game chances are you dragged ***...****ing guy..Why not just say no comment or a non answer?

Time to McClane these chumps.

Garner should've been put at RT a long time ago. He played there in college, and he's got to be better than Colombo.

And Sparano has the nerve to think he is an OLine guru!

Frankly that just confirms the stupidity of it all.

If your passing game has been very effective when Henne has time to throw, why in the hell would you not bench a player you consider a liabilty in pass coverage?

No, I think he seriously doesn't think the guy isn't screwing up, or that the alternatives aren't an improvement. To the first, he would be blind. To the second, Carey is a much, much better RT than Colombo, even if he plays at 2010 levels.

As far as starters go, true no injuries starters..I think you can make case that Columbo is the worst of them..

I agree, Carey was getting beat up.But at least he was getting beat up by good players.. Columbo is getting owned by rookies and cast offs.. I think Miami moved him to guard because they wanted to justfiy to him why he was going to have to take a pay cut.. Nate Garner should be starting at guard..It was reported that he would have been the starter last year if he was not hurt..

Dear Lord, I hope it isn't true. That would be absolutely moronic.

From what little I've seen of Garner he does seem like a better option than Columbo, although I would argue that Carey at RT and Jerry at RG (basing it exclusively on his play against the Browns) would be a better choice.

It's just flabbergasting to me that Sparano could think Columbo *anywhere* in the lineup gives us the best chance to win.
