Combine the sacks and quarterback hits and Henne was pounded 14 times by New England, nine times by Houston and 13 by Cleveland."We've got to stop that from happening," rookie center Mike Pouncey said. "You don't want your quarterback taking beatings like that all season."For the fourth straight year under Tony Sparano and Jeff Ireland, the Dolphins are working with several new pieces on the offensive line. Incognito and left tackle Jake Long are the only true incumbents - Vernon Carey moved from right tackle to right guard, Pouncey was drafted to replace Joe Berger and Marc Colombo took Carey's old spot.So far, the changes have helped the run game. The Dolphins are seventh in the NFL in average rushing yards per game (129.6) and ninth in yards per carry (4.5). Last year their averages were, respectively, 102.7 and 3.7But Sparano agreed that pass blocking has been deficient. The website Pro Football Focus, which analyzes every snap of every game, ranks the Dolphins' pass blocking as the worst in the NFL.http://www.palmbeachpost.com/sports...y-have-to-do-1887248.html?cxtype=rss_dolphins

A) When did Sparano figure this out?

B) Crazy idea, but if we run block better then we pass block, why don't we run more and pass less?

(but then we had the same problem during the Saban/Cameron days, good RB, poor QB, yet we always "tried" to pass on short yardage plays)

I think Chad should do what Vick is doing. Blame it on the refs, and ask for more late hit penalties. Maybe one day we can be like NE and get those calls and not get called for holding. What that Solder guy did to Wake was terrible.

ps. I´m not saying our OL is not doing a terrible job, neither saying Wake shouldn't have trampled Solder.

miami has proven throughout the years that a well paid OL doesn't necessarily mean a good OL. I guess you need better coaching in the equation.
