Sparano concerned about O-Line and running game.

I support signing O'Hara if Pouncey regresses.
But for now

LT Long
LG Incognito
C Pouncey
RG Carey
RT Colombo-Murtha (to be determined)

Just let it gel over the next two preseason games.

This OL will be good, Columbo and Murtha had good games when it came to pass blocking, run blocking will take more time, they will need more playing time to get it right, especially when a Rook is making the line calls......relax....if this team sucks its going to be because of QB play and nothing else...this team is solid and deep everywhere else that matters.......

Coach, you told us that was your bread & butter this year. Now we're worried abut YOU!!

Sparano loves using that "at the end of the day" line..

Reporter: Sparano what were you thinking when carpenter missed that field goal?
Sparano: Ive seen carpenter make those kicks in my sleep at the end of the day he makes that 9 times out of 10
Reporter: were you ready to fistpump had carpenter made the kick?
Sparano: At the end of the day if i dont fistpump then it going to take a while you dont fistpump over 7 practices it takes a long time..
Reporter: Whos fault was that second interception henne or bess?
Sparano: at the end pf the day it is not about throwing somebody under a bus those things are quite fixable bess run the wrong route..

At the "end of the day" ... we'll all be dead & it still won't be fixed.

You talk about not F'ing with the offensive line, yet you want to put a guard (Incognito) at center, a career center (O'Hara) at guard, and the guy who's practiced and played at center for the past two years (Pouncey) at guard?

I'll politely take your opinion and trash it.

Incognito played C most of his college career and plenty in the NFL too. He sucks at pulling and would be better at C.
Pouncey was a LG at UF until his last year. He has struggled with shotgun snaps in college and in camps thus far.
O'Hara can play C or RG. I'd rather have him at C but since Incognito is limited to C, I suggested O'Hara at RG - where he does have experience.
Carey has been playing RT for a long time now - you know that.

Go check the position histories for these guys before "trashing my opinion".

And blame Tony and Ireland when we can't run - not me.

Sparano: At the end of the day i don't make the personal decisions
you want bread and butter? Then let me shop for the groceries..

Im pretty sure he chooses the ineffective olinemen we keep signing off the scrap heap

Sparano: Columbo ? he founded America what an anchor..
Carey trust me the guy cares..
incognito might not show up on the radar screen but he is there
murtha well he gonna murtha somebody..
Pouncey well he is the wildest cat of them all..
I shall spring the trap on new england once again with the new wildcat instead it will be called wildfat
because everybody on the oline is overweight to complete this move i am asking ireland to bring in mckineey..

That would be Ireland. Let's not put everything on Tony.

You know that old Dolphin credo - can't make chicken salad out of chicken _____ .

I very much doubt that Ireland doesnt consult his offenseiveline guru Sparano when signing players esp players that Sparano has coached .

One thing I am truly upset about this offseason, is that we haven't brought in O'Hara yet. Although I don't if him not being here is on O'Hara or if it's our FO. But he needs to be here. If they're going to put this season on Henne's shoulders, then they need to put him in the best possible position they can, because even then it's an uphill battle for the guy. As is, they're setting him up to fail. Bring in O'Hara, put him at C, put Pouncey at LG, and that makes us set at all spots but RT with Carey at RG and Long. Right now we don't know WTF is going on with the line, with our only reliable man on the sideline. It's just mind boggling sometimes. If they're going to use a 1st round pick on a C, then they better make other moves to come out with a monster line, no more of this half-assed crap.

You do realize just because u crap in a mold and let it sit for 4 weeks does not amke it something good lol

When he starts using the phrase "At (or in) the beginning of the day" these things might start to correct themselves. Too late to fix them at the end of the day!

Ireland is the GM and personnel is our biggest problem.

Sparano is just a glorified cheerleader and he certainly does his part on the fist pumps. What more do you want? Ireland is the one who passed on Ingram and Mallett in the draft and didn't sign even one top FA o-lineman. Ireland is the one who drafted John Jerry over Colt McCoy in round 3 last year.

You can't blame Tony for bad personnel. And personnel (as in no QB) is our biggest problem.

Right because we were supposed to draft Colt McCoy last year? Remember at draft time last year 90% of us thought Henne was a franchise QB, and many experts felt he was going to have a breakout 20+TD season with ~10INTs.
