Sparano is gone....Tomorrow.

I think Sparano has to win a game before the bye or he'll be gone at that time.

If you can't beat a team that has Jason Allen Covering Brandon Marshall one on one half the game, then your team is poorly coached. We had better talent than the the Texans and Sparano's team gets beat by Wade Phillips. Pathatic. He's not head coach material.

Its this kind of delusional thinking that makes me laugh.
The Texans are better at almost every offensive postion. Their defense is much improved, but I'd sill give the Dolphins a slight edge. The bottom line is, you lost to a better team today so I really don't understand why so many of you are on the ledge. Are you really that surprised to be 0-2 after facing the Pats and Texans?
The Browns are beatable. If you're as talented as you think you are, go to Cleveland and beat them.

Sparano won't be released until the end of the season, but Ireland needs to go with him. He is just as culpable in this. We release Alan, Brown, Williams and Polite in hopes that Bush will be an every-down back, Sapp and Carol can cover, and a belief that no one needs a fullback anymore? OL move after OL move and we still have Carey on this squad? We can't stop a QB sack when he is in the shotgun? This is a partnership with these two. Both need to go together.

I say keep Sparano on actually....at this rate,we could go ahead and help Luck start house hunting in South Beach

Would be very surprised if he got the sack, especially when he got away last season.

who'd of thought we'd be 0-2 and Buffalo 2-0???

If we cant be Cleveland we wont stand a chance against B-Lo

I'd be down with both getting rid of Sparano, or keeping him to suck for Luck. I'm actually on the fence about brining in Luck. On one side he's gonna be sick and we need a QB. Henne is good but Luck will be better. The only reason I don't want to bring in Luck is because with our luck he will get stunted here. That's my only defense as to not bringing him in.

I don't think it will happen until the end of the season, and even then Im not sure. Ross doesn't seem to care. This team is harder to watch than the 1-15 one.

I don't think you will see him gone soon. I say they give him at least the end of the season. If we are anything but 10+ wins i say we have to go another direction. We will win games. We just got beat by 2 of the BEST teams in the NFL and untill the carroll blown coverage we were in the game.
I'm sure we will win next week vs the Browns so thats 1 :) lets build on that.

WHY DID WE HAVE ANYBODY ELSE BUT SMITH OR DAVIS ON JOHNSON ? ILL TELL YOU WHY POOR COACHING.HELL ILL BET ANYBODY RIGHT NOW THAT WE COULD TAKE A COLLEGE COACH AND OUT COACH SPARONO ANY DAY OF THE WEEK,IM SO DAMN PISSED RIGHT NOW IT ISNT FUNNY.AND WHEN I SEEN CARROLL ON JOHNSON ON THE FIRST PLAY THAT WAS A LIL OVER THROWN , SAID WHY IN THE HELL DO THEY HAVE CARROLL ON JOHNSON ?TOLD Y COUSIN JUST WATCH JOHNSON WILL BEAT HIM FOR A TOUCHDOWN,AND NO SOONER I GOT IT OUT OF MY MOUTH HE DID JUST THAT .F ROSS DONT CLEAN HOUSE BY MIDNITE THEN HE NEEDSS HIS HEAD CHECKED OUT:caveman:

Good news is we can start talking to Bill Cowher as soon as Sparano is fired LOL. I never thought I'd say this but I hope we do lose a lot so that we can finally get some real coaches in here. I'm tired of recycled BS coaches. It's been too freaking long.

Have to agree with most of the comments here. I have been watching the Phins since 1970. Some coaches have that intangible trait and are born winners and others just don't have it (whatever IT is). Talent has little to do with it. The better coaches squeeze every bit of talent and effort out of their players and use schemes that maximize the talent on their team. Shula and Bellichick are classic examples.
Heck, Shula took a team QB'd by David Woodley to a Super Bowl. Think about that for a minute. He also got his record setting win, on the road against a pretty good Philly team with his 3rd string QB (Doug Pederson, if I recall).
Everything in professional sports is relative and relatively speaking Sparano just can't compete as a HC with the average HC in the NFL. He does not seem to possess the necessary intangibles. It took him 2 yrs and an embarrassing prime time loss to the Pats last season to finally address the horrendous special teams play. Shula authored a book titled 'The Winning Edge' in the 1970's. He understood that games are won and lost in the details. Sparano does NOT have that attention to detail.
There is no reason they should have lost this game today. They shouldn't have been down by 13 at halftime. The team makes mental mistakes at critical junctures of every close game. That is a coaching issue 99% of the time.
This team does not need to get blown up. They need a real HC.
