don't know why you're surprised. I was 100% certain the Dolphins would lose to Houston today, as I've said numerous times all week.

And for months saying how this will be a nightmare season (IE- depending on too many rookies, poor O-line, and remember the D was seriously overrated last year as they faced some horrible QB's = Miami was so lucky to see Trent Edwards in week one instead of Fitzpatrick and we saw what fitzpatrick did to us last year in the 2nd matchup, Gradkowski with oakland, a done Favre who got 10 years older last season, a horrible Delhomme with cleveland, facing kerry collins against Tenn, and some other "bottom-of-the-barrel poor QB's to pump up Miami defensive stats last year (miami's D only looked great against those piss poor QB's but against decent to good ones miami's D looked quite poor).. but against the really good QB's last year this defense was as soft as a marshmallow

the defense was heavily overrated by the fans here and I started thread after thread stating that we need to still invest a lot in this D for the reasons I stated.. but we didn't and just stood pat with an average D

and of course you have a lame-duck head coach who's a total idiot and has no idea what he's doing managing all of that.

As I've said for awhile, this Miami team will quit and give up earlier this year than they did last year. The writing was on the wall, and in big letters. It was VERY obvious to see this coming., and from miles away.

No, talent, of which we have none in the defensive backfield and mediocre on the Dline and it goes downhill even worse at the LBer postion. To me, Karlos Dansby was a farce signing the contract we gave him, complete farce. Paul Soliai being franchised was another sad joke. The rest of the AFC East coaches and owners were laughing their *** off when we did that. Try to find one other team in the NFL that would pay that fat blob of uselessness the money we threw at him. Laughed when people were worried we were not working on a long term contract for him. One halfway decent season and he gets franchise tagged ?????

I agree with many on here though that he's just another 'brick in the wall'. We've got so many other issues Henne's problems can be on the back burner for now.

You may have me sold on this. Here we had 2 missed field goals, Henne is not doing well enough on 3rd downs to keep drives alive. Had several passes batted down and he's really just the Henne he was last year. Hard to believe, everyone in our division is 2-0 and we were 3-1 in preseason? Goes to show you preseason games mean nothing. We'll be lucky to go 8-8 this season.
