Sparano says he likes versatility of his RB group but the lack of experience is "definitely a concern"

If he is worried about lack of experience why not keep around Ronnie or Ricky? He confuses me ... :ponder:

Because it wouldve made too much sense to keep Ricky.

its you and jeffs hand picked group tony...if there was concerns about no veteran presence the light bulb should have come on already...not that i think losing ricky and his good for 5 carries a game at this stage of his career is much to worry about

I am more worried about the lack of ability at the RB position. Reggie will be good for a few awesome plays a season, but I really don't think Daniel Thomas is going to be much more than a body there. I hope I am wrong, but I don't think our running game is going to be very good.

The Dolphins aren't winning the super bowl this year, so it makes a large degree of sense to continue to develop a young core for the future. They already did nicely it on the defensive side, and this season their focusing on the O.

I have no idea why everyone was so desperate to bring Ricky/Ronnie back. It's like they don't take into account that both rbs have lost 5 steps. Sure Ricky was still productive but he is 34 years old and would be taking reps away from the younger guys. If the Panthers can get production out of Goodson, if the Redskins can get production out of Torrain, and if the Bucs can get that kind of production out of Blount, we should be able to muster something out of Thomas/Bush/Grigsby/Hilliard/Sheets.

It concerns me that i'm running out of clean socks.

I've been keeping an open mind about him. They say he's running with better pad level and he had some nice runs today, a nice cutback run behind Pouncey and a few others. We'll see what he brings Friday.

if ricky lost so many steps how did he still produce and are u really concerned that he would take carries from Sheets or griggs . I dont know I want the best players on the field and Blount is a good back so not sure how u feel just plugging a guy in is enough

Im not concerned at all.. Backs are a dime a dozen. Ricky is OLD.. Barber is washed up. Johnson.. washed up too.

If our line can create holes.. any decent back could give you a better avg than what R&R did last year.

I hear they have scheduled Czonka for a workout tomorrow!
