Sparano is worried about lack of experience in Rb's.

I hope so, but there have been plenty of great college RBs that do nothing at the pro level. He just did not look that impressive at K state. Seems like the first tackler took him down too easy on a lot of plays and most of his big runs just came from huge holes. I could be wrong, and I hope I'm wrong, but he just did not impress me in college.

True, but to call him only a body with no ability after two weeks of training camp. I'd rather be supporting our team at this point instead of tearing them apart. If we had stayed with R&R how many thread would there be saying how we made a huge mistake not going after a young RB? Granted not every succesful RB makes it in the NFL but at least wait for maybe a game or two before he is labeled a bust.

I don't have a problem with giving the guy a shot, but I don't like how we seem to be putting all of our eggs in that basket. If we signed a veteran to split time with him I would be much more optimistic. Of course if he turns out to be a solid running back we will have saved a lot of money and have a good RB on the other hand if he does suck then it will be like the year after Ricky retired all over again.

Does Bush not count as a vet RB? I loved the idea of R&R but honestly don't think it even came close to what we were expecting. I think Thomas/Bush is going to surprise the doubters. Thomas is a bruiser type runner and Bush is so frickin quick and agile. I think they are a perfect pair. Plus I do want to give our other guys a chance if one does happen to go down rather than sink a huge amount of money into a vet (and vet RB always demand $$).

Tiki barber I mean really u see that as a better option than Ricky williams no I mean really. As for Hilliard so far he is lucky to be in NFL and has proven nothing

How many times can we run the ball? I thought everyone wanted us to open up the field more. If your going to try and give Bush and DT a BARE MINIMUM of 30 carries combined (probably more) how many carries will Ricky even be getting? 5? That just didnt make sense to ethir us or Ricky.

Just saying we should have kept him as insurance because Bush never seems to survive no matter the carries.

What if THOMAS is a bust, or mediocre at best? We have noone else except HILLIARD.

He was the Big 12 rushing champion last year and a second round pick in the NFL draft. Can we at least wait until he takes a regular season snap, or even a preseason snap before even theorizing about if he may or may not be a bust?

Thank you Nubs. What the hell is with everyone. We make moves at the RB position and everyone complains. If we had stayed with R&R, oh imagine the complaining then.

I had preached that we need to take a runningback the previous year, imagine if we had taken leashon Mccoy instead of wasting a pick on Pat white

LeSean McCoy would have sucked majorly in our system last year.

Hilliard hasn't proven anything because he was behind R&R.. and THEY proved nothing last year. Barber? Really?! Williams is OLD...

It's over.. move on.

i don't think think thomas is a bust his feet are rare very rare...but i do think staying healthy is gonna be an issue...i'll be surprised if we get 12 games out of him...same for bush
