Sparano knew right away Pennington was the man for the job

Good article. I dont even want to imagine what are record would be right now without pennington

Nice article. Pennington has done a great job. Manages the game well, few turnovers and takes what is there. I can't wait to see how this team is playing in a couple of weeks when him and the receivers have had a good deal of time to get comfortable with each other.

I like the fact he is a leader more then anything... something I believe we have lacked on that side of the ball for a long time.

I don't even want to think about what our offense would've looked like without Pennington. Thank you NYJ for trading for a washed up primadonna.

like i've said before in other threads on Pennington,i'm glad he's our QB...

I was completely wrong about Pennington in preseason. He has made me eat crow.

And you know the best thing about Pennington...he is schooling our future QB....

Just imagine....a game manager like Pennington with a frickin gun...

Nice thought huh....

I wish he would take more chances downfield. But he is what he is and it works to a certain extent. He wont lose games for you, but he wont necessarily win them either.

Yeah. Chad is the epitome of passion. That block he threw for ricky was sick and showed that he's all for the team. I wonder if Favre would've done the same, but I guess he's probably too busy chasing down corners that are running for the endzone haha

it would be a baptism by fire for Chad Henne. I don't think we'd look embarassing with Henne as he showed he can move the ball with the first team, but if we tried too hard to protect him and started either Beck or McCown we'd be in pretty bad shape.

I hope the Jets/Dolphins game in Week 17 is for the winner getting a playoff spot.

Chad is the freakin' man!

He's the exact opposite of what we've had down here in quite a while. Even the great Marino would throw a pick six. Sorry for the blasphemy. Point is it is a different kind of QB than we've had since Griese. Kinda the only thing missing from the Jimmy Johnson era.
