I'm starting to really like this guy...blue collar, tough, discipline, but also humble.

I love how he jumps up and down pumping his fists.

Most of all I'm lovin how his players are responding to him and becoming a reflection of him and his coaching style with their play.

I am starting to believe that these new 'rookie' HC in the NFL are a better fit for today's players. Seems players are responding to these coaching styles.

Cam never had a chance, neither did Saban or Mustache for that matter.

The younger, more personable, active hc is in style.

Finally we got ourselves a hc.

He reminds me of Jimmy Johnson. I think our franchise is gonna be in good hands for years to come.

In a way, Parcells was hired to turn the Miami Dolphins around....but even moreso than that...he was hired to bring in the right people that would allow the Miami Dolphins to finally function successfully on their own in the future...without his assistance.

In other words, if Parcells doesn't honor the full duration of his contract...it won't matter...because he's put the pieces in place for the Dolphins to succeed on their own...which was the objective IMO.

Sparano was handpicked by Parcells...and he surrounded him with people that Sparano is familiar with. It's a recipe for instant gratification...but in the long run...it will be up to Miami to build on, and maintain a successful organization...and it starts with Jeff Ireland.

The franchise crippling, blueprint for failure (pissing away draft picks, signing over-the-hill "names" such as Chris Carter, Junior Seau, Thurman Thomas, etc. because you think you're closer to a championship than you really are) has been established....and must be avoided in the future.

Oh man I love him too. For some reason when he's on the sideline, he kinda reminds me of mike ditka. I don't know why, but thats the image I get.

I loved it last week when he was chest bumpin Joey Porter lol. He is such the man!!!

Tony Sparano is something special. He is unique in its own way, and I can really good result with the theory that today's "Rookie" HC's will have a greater impact on today's players.

It is admirable much of what he has achieved so far already. He has that combination of innovative things that you like to see in a new head coach. The staff around him are carefully selected and organized.

It is difficult to put words on something negative about him. What I most like about him is that he is open to criticism, and have up to several times of his press conferences said that he will make mistakes and learn the lessons from it, which is incredibly important in this world.

Even if Bill Parcels should decide to go as expected, then we are left in a desirable position. It has been a wise choice from Parcells, perhaps a little obvious after his time in Dallas. But the man really do know how to build a solid franchise.

I started believing in our project under Tony Sparano, and it becomes increasingly clear that more and more fans and the players do too.

Actually I was gonna start a new thread called "My Tony Sparano Slurpfest" but you said it better than I could have. The only thing I'd add, is that from my "homer" perspective, given who the other coaches are (see my take below) are the present time (e.g. Dungy retiring, HOlmgren past his prime), there are few I'd prefer to have coaching this team aside from Jeff Fisher and the 600 lb gorilla in the room, Cowher..and maybe not even him) and perhaps Whisenhunt..

.. IMO, TS is the right man at the right time for us:

Not trying to get on your case but how does he remind you of J.J.?

J.J. had a super ego and a major temper that he didint try to hide. Not to mention he was obsessed with his hair and you could basically tell how a game was going just by looking at how messy his hair was by the third quarter.

Sparano has got his act together. And if you've seen his highschool pick he looks anything but blue-collar. More like draft dodger from 71.

Oh and by the way J.J. is my favorite coach/GM to ever be in this league. And yeah i'm way high on sparano too.

Well thats good. It wasn't long ago you were trashing the regime and calling out Wayne for hiring these guys after 2 games.

Wait a minute here. You can have a man crush on Brad Pitt, George Clooney or A rod. You can even have a man crush on players or other studs but you Can Not have a man crush on Sporano. I dont care if he wins us 3 titles. Come on fellas set you sites higher! :)

i for one am glad he's our HC...it feels good to have a tough, disciplined, hard working, blue collared man as our HC...and it certainly appears that the players are buying into what Coach Sparano&his coaches are teaching and that in itself is good to see....Go Dolphins!!!!!

I love me some Tony Sparano.....................
