Sparano motivational words

By the way, isnt this line by Tony insulting to either the team or Chad Henne or himself.

Think about it. If he is saying the players are a bunch of deer and he is a lion, isnt he putting them down and acting like he is the man? How is that motivational?

If he is saying its the other way, like Im suggesting is much more fitting, then is he taking a shot at Henne or himself by saying the team is a bunch of lions and right now they are being lead by a deer? Cause Henne is like a deer in headlights out there a lot of times.

Man, you must really regret passing on Matt Ryan

From what I've heard the new mountaineer coach is implementing an Air Raid type of offense, so maybe their play style will catch your eye.

I'm hoping Mizzou can get moved into the SEC with Texas A&M as I've been a Mizzou follower for the past couple of years and I have recently focused my College Football watching Notre Dame going through mediocre seasons, Heres to hoping Dayne Crist(ND QB) can stay healthy and have a successful season. Hopefully Michael Floyd can stop being a jackass and focus on Football this year since he was lucky enough to get reinstated.

Well Holgorsen did have success as an OC wherever he has been(previously with OK St.). Also, Oliver Luck(Andrew's dad) took over as the athletic director a couple of years ago and I can trust his judgement. The last AD we had was a ****ing joke. It was kinda like the phins situation. Amazing how they hired Bill Stewart, a guy who was lucky to be the special teams coach, as HC just because we blasted Oklahoma in the fiesta bowl after Rodriquez left. That was a terrible choice. That was a good time for us to strike with a quality HC, when the program was as high as it had ever been.

I wanted Saban obviously. He is from a town about 30 minutes from Morgantown ya know. Dont know if he wouldve been interested, but I bet if the check was big enough he wouldve been. Im still holding out hope he comes home to finish out his college career after he is finished dominating the SEC. The minute Rodriquez wanted to leave to take the Alabama job, I wouldve let him walk, knowing he was going to leave eventually and leave us high and dry whether he took that job or not. It was obvious he had dreams of being a coach at a huge program. But, I caught **** from all the WVU fans because I told them what would happen and it would be best to let him go now and make a run at Saban and even if he didnt want the job get someone else. But, they didnt listen to me. Instead they were all happy that the AD decided to give Rodriquez a huge raise in order to turn down Bama and stay here. Then they got their ***** burned.

Funny how that seems to be happening EVERYWHERE. Didnt I say after the 09 season we needed to can Tony and say bye to Parcells and everyone he hired and start over? Yep. Everyone was like "AND START OVER AGAIN?" YEP. Because guess what were going to have to do anyway? You got it. Shouldve started over 2 years ago and we wouldnt be doing it after this season. Pretty much wasted two years. But, I was jumping the gun huh? Get real.

I see Holgorsen was A QB coach as well an Offensive Coordinator with Oklahoma State and Houston, so he's definately going to be able to bring Geno Smith success.

I thought it was very sad to see Rodriguez go because he had to bring his steaming pile of dung over to Michigan and made me watch them crash and burn.

Notre Dame had recently brought over Brian kelly from Cincinnati and I thought he did a very good job over there with the players and grooming his players into the NFL but last season was a disapointment since I thought there was going to be more to come with kelly coming over, but I guess i can't be too mad about that since Notre Dame had one of the toughest schedules in the nation last year.

Any updates on that Alabama QB competition? I believe last time i checked on it they were going to start that 4 star recruit Sims I believe, but I had heard McCarron was right behind him and it was a close competition.

I cant say Ive been a tide fan long. Honestly, Im a Saban fan. But, I do root for the tide on the reg now and watch most of their games. If someone wants to call me a bandwagon, it dosent bother me. Im not allowed to root for the tide? would be my question to them. I didnt really have a college football team until Saban went back to Bama.

I grew up a Mountaineers fan, but I hated Rodriquez and that high school offense he ran from the day he arrived in Morgantown. I used to talk **** about him and all the Mountaineer fans hated me for it. Now they hate Rodriquez more than I ever did and thats only because he took his dick out of their mouths. They still love him deep down, thats why they hate him so much. They act like little *******.

But as I said, I grew up a big fan of them and went to college there, so of course I was a huge fan when we had Nehlen and Bulger at QB. I still watch most of their games, just not a big fan of their style of play. Maybe things will change with this new coach they have. Its just hard to watch because they never play anybody. Almost 80% of their games arent really contests. Not because of the scores, its just that there isnt much doubt as to who will win when before the game even starts. I cant get into that ****. Thats why I love SEC football. Its so competative. Its the next best thing to the NFL.

Most of the college football I watch is SEC games unless I gamble on a game. Thats really the best thing about college football.......gambling on it. Its so much easier to call than NFL. I dont even bet on the NFL anymore outside of the occasional pick em all or sometimes a very small wager on a primetime game. Every game is so close, almost every spread is 3, and one bounce of a ball can kill you. Youre just as well off playing a game of chance like blackjack. In college, with spreads so big, there is more margin for error on the part of the oddsmakers. You simply have to locate the games that they are off. If you follow what goes on, you can find them.

I do still love Mountaineer hoop however. The games are very entertaining and playing in the Big East provides great competition. But, Mountaineer football is wak. Most of the games I wouldnt go to if they gave me free tickets. Im sure as hell not paying $30 and more for a seat to go watch them play Syracuse, UConn, East Carolina, or some pathetic out of conference team they play. Get real. I wouldnt mind throwing down a few bucks to go watch when they play LSU this year in Morgantown. But, aside from that, there really arent any games on their schedule worth a ****. The Pitt game is intense every year, but they always play the day after Thanksgiving and I usually head out of town that week to a casino or a mountain retreat with the Mrs.

I go to University of Pittsburgh, and hate WVU

What a complete and utter failure little nicky was in the NFL

You've got 100 deer and a lion, vs. 100 lions and a deer. Seriously, you're gonna tell me the deer army wins, just because they have a stupid lion in charge? I call BS. I say the lions eat the ****in' deer.
