Halftime comments by Sparano.

"Roberto's done a nice job, I like the throw that Matt Moore just made, he hung in there and made a big throw for us."

"Chad made a good throw earlier on the deep ball," Sparano said. "But too many things early in the ball game we need to clean up, sudden change defense, not catching the ball, those type of things."

What do you want the guy to say? He's coaching with inferior talent. Personnel decisions have been our problem way more than coaching.

"I resign as Miami Dolphins Head Coach."

We've had enough quitters here with JJ and Tuna. Not saying we shouldn't have replaced him (and Ireland) - we damn well should've - but nobody likes a quitter.

Other post game coments by players.

Henne:
“It was definitely fun to get back out there and see some new faces rather than our own defense out there,” Henne said. “Obviously, we didn’t start how we wanted to but we put a drive together in the third series and got what we wanted out of it.
“We were moving the ball. They were dropping some people into coverage and I had to make some runs out there and avoid some defenders. But we moved the ball down on that third series like we know how to, but you wish that was the first series. You can’t take anything back and you’ve just got to move on from here.”

Gates:
“It was fun and I was amped and hyped,” Gates said. “The adrenaline was rushing and I was just trying to make a play whenever my name was called. It was a blessing to actually come out here and compete and come out and play a game. Practice is hard and fun but when you come into a game it’s a lot different. It’s fun and you want to let it all out.”

Livas:
“I knew that was going to be the way I get on the team and the way I’d make my mark, by making plays in the return game,” Livas said. “I knew I had to make one person miss and I knew I couldn’t let the punter get me. I broke the tackle and ran into the end zone. I probably could have run in but I just wanted to dive to make it look good. I’m happy with the result.”

Henne looked pretty bad last night. Cover two is still giving him trouble. The first int was not his fault but the second one was a rookie throw. I think he was nervous tho. But who knows.

I was watching NFL network at the time. After Henne threw his first pick, Im like, its not that bad, then I saw Andy Dalton throw a pick and I was like.. LMAO Rookies, good thing we don't have one of those QBs that throw those terrible passes, then all of a sudden, Henne threw that 2nd pick I just threw my hands in the air and said Irony...

when was the last time you saw henne throw a 40 yd bomb for a TD? Andy Dalton played terrible, bad throw after bad throw, that is concern guys. henne had one underthrown pass that was the only bad pass he had, the first int was fasano`s fault. moore played nicely. i`m not concerned at all. lets be patient.

Henne's first INT was behind Fasano. It wasn't thrown in the best place, but Fasano should have been able to do something with that other than tip it right into the defenders hands. So that wasn't all Henne's fault. The second INT was clearly a bad decision. He took too long to make a decision and threw the ball late. That allowed the defender to get underneath. Bad decision. Hartline toasted his DB for the TD throw Henne had. Good throw from Henne to a wide open Hartline.

Moore hung in there for that TD. He knew he would take a shot. That was really impressive. His other TD was another nice throw with good timing. Both TDs were good throws. His INT was on a tipped ball. It was a good throw, the DB just had tight defense all over the receiver and the ball got tipped up.

So in the first preseason game, Moore played better than Henne. But it is preseason, and Henne plays against the first team starters from the opponent. I'm not ruling Henne out based on those performances. But to me, it looks like more of the same. I'm not too confident in Henne.
