During his day after press conference, Coach Sparano readily admits that "he needs to do a better job of getting Wake on the field". Tony says that Wake is an impact player who makes the most of his opportunities. However, Sparano states that Wake "still has a lot of work to do in different areas". In my opinion, Wake is a great situational pass rusher and next year he could very well be our star on defense!:woot:

He's sick nasty rushing the passer... I just wish our opponent would pass on every down, so Wake could always be rushing. 39 sacks could be possibility :p

He's not a complete LB yet. I think he still has things to work on, which is why they don't play him.

Hey Sparano... I got news for you.. Joey Porter still has a lot of work to do.. Chowderhead has a lot of work to do.. Teddy Ginn needs a lot of work learning how to catch a ball and stay on his feet...

So why are you singling out Wake? He is about the only one of the team that is giving more than 100%..

There's a helluva lot of truth to that. I believe he was asked specifically about Wake though.

Im glad Sparano admits that Wake deserves more time.

I love ya Tony but a big "DUH" to that statement. I dont understand why he isn't in on every obvious passing down. I'm sure he has a lot of work to do before he can be an every down player but it's not like Joey is all that complete either.

I'm a big fan of Wake but come on guys, all his sacks come in the 4th quarter when he's fresh and their blocker is tired. He does alot right, but he's not on the field as much cuz he sucks vrs the run, so naturally i like him alot in his role now, a late game situational pass rusher.
im glad roth was cut, anderson and wake need more playing time
