As you know, Smith doesn't have an interception this season. He's been around the ball, but on at least two occasions, I can remember he either got out-fought for the ball that became a completion or the receiver knocked it from him for an incomplete pass.

That is about strength. And Smith will add some in the offseason. Then, of course, the other stuff will come. Smith will have to learn to study himself and his opponent better. That time he spends thinking about the mall these days? He'll grow as a professional and think about more film study. That is part of growing up as well.
Only thing that puzzles me is yes, Sean can get stronger I'm sure. But if he gains any more weight, he'll be approaching 220. That is too big for a corner in my opinion, I think he'd lose some fluidity and all. I just think he really needs to workout with Vontae if he wasn't already, because obviously Vontae knows his stuff. I mean, look at him. Dude is swole as **** for 205.

i do agree he needs to be physical, but i think more importantly he needs to get quicker. Too many times i see him get beat. Oh maybe Ginn can finally be more useful and help Smith work on his speed.. in a ideal world and Ginn also would not be such an *** and get some lessons from Duper.

Yeah, that'll be the day. Unforunately, Ginn has no respect for one of the greatest WR's to ever wear a Dolphins uniform and add to the fact he'll always be a spineless little mary for the rest of his life.

I thought he did offered and Ginn said no or was it a different dolphins WR. I know you should support the players on your team no matter what, but how can i when he does more bad then good and said no to the best wr the dolphins ever had. What an honor that would be. I bet any other dolphins wr would accept. The real problem with Ginn is he does not like being a dolphin.

i wish he was a better tackler he always tackles very weird and takes a soft approach at it. i see vontae and he hits anything insight. i really like smith tho he will be a nice corner for us for many years.

He did offer to tutor Ginn, no cost to Teddy at all. Duper sent Ginn an e-mail offering to be his mentor, and Ginn simply brushed him aside as if Duper was nothing.

We should work Ginn out as a corner is the offseason, thats what happens to recievers with no hands. Maybe then we can boost his trade value during preseason and get something worth while for him.

God no.. contrary to popular belief, it takes a lot of courage to play corner. There are lots of times that you're left with having a linemen or fullback betwen you and the ballcarrier (who usually outweighs you by 20 or 30 lbs himself) and you're expected to take them on and make the tackle. Ginn would get killed during that.

And I wish Sean would man up and make some tackles. I can totally tell by his attitude that he does NOT want to tackle, I've seen his type of approach to tackling all the time. What they do is basically just let the guy run into them, and wrap their arms around them, hoping to just slow them down. Usually they don't ever use form on their tackles. It's just wrap up, and hold on for dear life. That's the ***** approach to it.

he would have ran out of bounds long before any blocker could put a hit on him

****, I wouldn't blame him

That crap is scary when you have a Guard running full speed at you.

Quick story, last year when I played football, I was at safety. We were scrimmaging in practice, and it was a run play. So, the ball is hiked, and what do you know, I have a guard AND a TE running full speed at me, ready to knock me the **** out. Just out of reaction, I spun at the last second, and I came out of it alive, and behind me they were both on the ground because I somehow juked the in that spin. Man, if they hit me, I would have flew 10 ft into the air  I'm lucky I can react well, or else I would have been carted off the field.

Yeah really. I wish I could have seen what I did on tape.. I would have laughed so hard. I wonder Ginn would have done? Probably would've turned around and kicked his track speed full on the other way.
