i dont know who needs simplifying more, sparano or sanchez.
ravens have flacco , we know who the jets have. While we are all celebrating we should remember that cam camerons team sticks it up our *** everyone we play. Let's not consider ts an automatic win just yet.
I'm more than surprised that anyone would take this guy as an OC, I think at best he'd be a good position coach, but putting him in charge of an entire offense? Really??
According to PFT: Sparano will simplify the Jets offense to help Sanchez succeed. He is also going to buil a power running game. I love it!!!
There is also a "Fire Sparano" thread on one of the forums already. It was a humorous read.
How's he even a good position coach considering the way he kept tinkering with the OL to its demise, including signing, starting and not pulling Columbo?
it's funny how the jest homers are hanging their hats on Romo's first year in Dallas where Tony called some of the plays in concert with Haley.. but I believe he then got relieved of that job when it was upgraded to Jason Garrett. When all you have to go on is a shared responsibility 5 years ago that Tony has any offensive acumen (I keep thinking of how he claimed Henning's predictable play calling was not the problem and throwing our offense under the bus instead), then you're grasping at straws.
I hope not. The longer he stays with the Jets the better it will be for us.
again, rationalizing the situation you like.
has it occured to people on this board that exactly what the Jests NEED is simplification? that they went to 2 straight afc championships with that philosophy? i am not happy sparano is with the Jests i honeslty think it was a solid move.
