But it really isn’t. Players are retiring earlier and earlier. Not saying Tua will. Or Tua should.Just goes to show you concussions have a wide range and everyone’s body is different. It can take one hit and one concussion to have the same effect as 12 concussions in another person. Which is why the retirement talk is crazy, every player is one hit away from serious injury, it’s part of the game.

What Tua SHOULD do is talk it over with his family. His doctor and make his decision. Don’t count on the team or league to make that objective decision because they won’t.
Tell it to the Marines!
Whenever $$$ is involved, it's hard to be "objective"They will be "objective", but their "objective" is probably different.
It's all "objective". - LOL
Is Carter really on IR because his concussion was that serious? Or did he just not have a place on the roster as a 5th fricken TE.
You never know. At roster cuts a guy could always be some coach's pet project but once the season starts and a guy gets hurt you start to think of better ways to use a roster spot.If it's the latter it's kind of annoying as he had no guaranteed money left/dead cap so cutting him early on prior to injury would of saved 2.5mil this year.
Not a huge sum, but with cap rollover it does add up.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight - it's the size of the fight in the "Devil-dog". - LOLThey are already well protected, hard to get a concussion with such small brains
