Damn, talking heads are one thing but this clown takes it to a whole new level. Everytime he opens his mouth and I hear or read what he says - my IQ goes down about 20 points.

Here's his latest gem on Dwayne Waye:

From the Herald:
Skip Bayless of ESPN First Take claimed Wednesday that Heat guard Dwyane Wade has added weight.

''He's gained 20 pounds,'' Bayless said. ``Maybe some of it's muscle, maybe some of it's not. But he has lost his explosion.''

Wade's response: ``Who? Who's that? Nah, Skip don't know nothing. He knows nothing. I lift weights. I got bigger. I'm 26 years old. I'm not 21 no more.''

The Heat lists Wade at 6-4, 216 pounds. His NBA.com draft profile in 2003 -- his rookie season -- had him at 210.

Wade is averaging 25 points, 4.2 rebounds and 6.8 assists this season. The points and assists are above his career average.

ya, Skip can say some crazy things. Wade probably has it right. Skip opens his mouth with out really knowing the situation.

Only 20?
He is, without a shadow of a doubt, the biggest idiot I have EVER seen or heard give an opinion on sports. He's so bad, that I'm close to convincing myself that ESPN pays him to be as stupid as possible. He makes Woody Paige seem insightful, and that is nearly impossible.

i heard that today and laughed to myself. sometimes skip is resonable and makes some good arguements. but alot of times it seems like he is trying way way way too hard, and ends up making comments just to stire up controversy

This is like the people that say SHAQ is fat. Then SHAQ has a body fat test and they dissapear.

Wade has gained weight..and it is muscle. so has Kobe..so has everybody in the league. You never stay the same weight. You do get older.

I'm sure Skip says these kind of things on purpose to make an arguement, if he agreed with the majority that whole 1st and 10 segment would be a waste of time.

Skip just really seems bitter with the world....he always seems to want to slam LeBron James as well. He and the girl from Cold Pizza, or First Take, should both be let go from ESPN (the one who said F-Notre Dame).

Why stop at Bayless? Lets lynch Rome and Lebatard while we're at it.

Only reason why he has lost a bit of explosiveness has to do with his knee still not being 100% and Wade has been playing this season injured.

Even with that, Dwyane Wade is playing at a very high level at 90%.

What more can you ask from a guy? Outplayed Lebron the other night, scored 42 in the game and shut Lebron out in the 4th, scored 32 points of the Heat's 38 SECOND HALF points in that game [rest of the team 6 points in that second half on 3-21 shooting]. Then this game, he was doing it all again untill San Antonio brought the extra guys on Wade in crunch time and played him good defensively. Really, should Wade have any confidence to pass the ball to these nobodies that play for him? I don't blame him for not passing the ball.

Let's face it. It's Wade and the Scrubs, or people who should only be playing basketball in a family picnic at a local park.

Wade is doing all he can to win, and by the look of his face, he is getting frustrated. I hope Pat Riley turns this around, and I hope he has a talk with his franchise player, or else those people saying he will be out in 2010 might be right

Relax. he isn't going anywhere.

Skip Bayless is doing his job. He is supposed to get people talking, and by the looks of this thread, it worked.
