Special teams help?

Who out there thinks Miami's special teams are mediocre at best?

Despite who ends up as QB, Wandstedt is still in charge and conservative game plans will continue to be the trend, so better field position is critical. This last season, Miami only got a few returns that were great. All year we were crap.

Also, Mare should go because he does not justify what he gets paid (pay cut/restructure?)

There are a few receivers that we could choose that are also excellent return men....you'll have to ask the more "draft guys" who they are though...

jason geathers in the 7th round would be a nice little upgrade to the return game

I like Jason Geathers. One guy I like a lot in the mid-rounds is Samie Parker, because he has all the potential to be a #2 or #3 WR, and he's a great returner. If we were to draft Mike Jenkins in the 1st, he would be able to return punts for us.

Oh yeah, don't forget about Bernard Berrian who is a good prospect in the 3rd round as a #3 WR/return man.
