Everyone's talking about how our red zone offense is the best this year and the 49ers red zone defense is the worst.
But what about special teams?
Turns out the 49ers have the 2nd ranked special teams unit (according to FootballOutsiders) and we've got the 31st ranked unit. They've markedly improved over the last few games so hopefully kick coverage will remain decent. It would suck to lose a should-win game due to blown coverage and a big play or two given up, like we almost did vs. the Raiders.
Just something that wasn't getting much mention but could be a huge factor.
