Slippery Soap here with a positive post. Judging from the free agents we picked up it looks like we are going to have a very good special teams unit this season. I think most of those guys are special teams standouts adding them to the few special teams guys we had here, Greg Cameron and Lorenzo Booker and Tony Bua that team is going to ROCK ROCK ROCK!

With all that said I think that Lorenzo Booker would be the perfect Kick off return specialist for us not only has he got speed but he has vision and is about the same size as Devin Hester of the Bears. Greg Cameron could return punts and remind us of the Wes Welker days.

I am not leaving out Ted Ginn but I think we will need him more on offense then on special teams and would not like to see him hurt returning a kick or fielding a punt. Ginn also does not have the quickness and vision that is needed to find the holes returning kicks. He does have speed but it takes him a while to get into stride. Not knocking him but I just dont see him as a kick returner anymore. I do see him as an above average Chris Chambers type of reciever though. Remember OJ McDuffie and Chambers played on special teams during their first year but once they became starters they were taken off the unit.

This is not an anti Ted Ginn post. :D
 
You can't go wrong with either of those guys returning kicks. I think you're right though, we will need Ginn more as a receiver, so that will open the door for Booker.
 
ummm tony bua hasnt been on the team for a few years....


and ginn needs to be returning kicks, it changes the game if we can get great field position with his help
 
thanks for the 1 star there buddy. Tony Bua is still on the team for your information. And like NO Ted Ginn should not be returning kicks anymore he is the No.1 wide reciever. No team in the NFL has thier No.1 reciever returning kicks. It is the NFL version of RETARDED.

And for the record Ted Ginn makes a better returner than a WR (let alone a #1).....so u need to put him where he is more dangerous...( A.E- Bears with Hester)
 
where the hell IS Tony Bua anyway? Havent heard about him in years..

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! I love it. He just owned you SICK!!!! Pulled out the Tony Bua being on the Dolphi.....oh wait.

I think you need to buy a newer Madden Slippery.

And as Sick said, GINN is not a #1 WR and is needed at KR/PR (or at least one of those two).
 
I do think it would be a good idea to get booker on the field that way. You have to get your most dangerous players on the field. Ginn is VERY good on KR, but hes becoming to valuable at receiver. The difference between Ginn and Hester is that Hester isn't a good wideout like Ginn is.

Classic. Steve Smith returned kicks full time for Carolina. They're weaning him off, but he did.

Oh yeah, I don't want Booker doing any returning. How many fumbles are we going to have?
