Speculation: Suspended Players Could Be Reinstated before Sunday!

Mike Florio just reported that the players (Welker, Gordon) facing suspension for violating the drug policy may have a pass and get reinstated in the next week. Does nobody else see what the hell is going on!?!?!

Brady tested positive along with Welker (Kentucky Derby). The NFL released the Welker news, but not the Brady news. They began scurrying around re-vamping the drug policy in an effort to avoid HAVING to suspend Brady four games! THEY CANT SUSPEND THE GOLDEN CHILD!

Brady missed practice today with some phantom lower extremity injury. This is Tom Brady and Bill Belicheck we are talking about! They, "prepare hardered and and are more detailed than anyone else". But on the eve of a divisional battle in week 1, Brady is nowhere to be seen!

After the lengthy Josh Gordan appeal that got upheld, all of sudden the NFL is revamping EVERYTHING?!?!?!

There is something going on!!!!!!!

Who's with me ?!?!

Major concurrance!

Folks, hold on a second. You do not know what Jones and Jordan tested positive for. If it was roods, they are done for 4 weeks. That is not changing.

i don't know about Jones but i believe Dion had amphetamines in his system as well. I only remember because I thought it was a strange drug to use if you are trying to bulk up.

I'd be really pissed off if Josh Gordon was allowed to play as I just had my fantasy draft on Monday and I didn't keep him (we're allowed 1 keeper) b/c of his suspension!

I'm all over a conspiracy. Let's call Mulder and Scully and get to the bottom of this.

Must have been one crazy Derby with all these people popping Molly.....

Build up for the KY derby is worse then the game day 'festivities' before the Super Bowl.... you'd have to do something. :chuckle:

p.s. I'd bet before Punxsatawney Phil emerges everyone goes to Heinz Field for "Brownies" & Cocoa.

Obviously its a theory. But to you clowns attempting to make fun.... riddle me this.

Why after the lengthy and extremely public Gordan appeal that was UPHELD, is the NFL all of a sudden changing their stance? What has changed? Must have been something pretty pressing.

Its also interesting the the timeline happens to coincide with the Welker announcement. And Brady missing a practice before a divisional rival to start the season on the road. Also, a pretty funny video of Welker and Brady kicking it the Derby drinking a mint julep.

If you really think the NFL would risk losing that cheddar you are mistaken.

Plus they probably figured that the Fans would love it and think, "they finally got ride of these stupid suspensions".

Use some imagination fellas.....

One author pointed out that they would like to get this done before the new year, which is technically already started. They seem motivated to get something done. Apparently Wes Welker has some fans in the league office.

Ok not so sure Jordan or jones would be affected. Looks like amphetamines would be moved to the "substance abuse program" and the threshold for weed will be raised. If Jones and Jordan did true PED's, nothing would change.

Amphetamines are considered PEDs. Thats why players take them.

Obviously Aaron Rodgers was supplying the goodies at the Kentucky Derby. Just look at that devilish smile.

Yeah I realize that. In the new policy they won't be considered PED's if taken in the offseason.
