Speculation: Suspended Players Could Be Reinstated before Sunday!

NFLPA has tentatively set their conference call with the 32 player reps for 5:30 pm ET to talk drug policy. Executive committee before that.

2. The threshold for a positive test for marijuana will increase to 35 ng/ml. The prior limit was 15 ng/ml; the Olympic standard is 150 ng/ml. Also, the policy will have additional steps for players who test positive for the substance, before an initial suspension.

Why don't they join us in the 21st century and raise this limit to the Olympic standard, at the least.

#Browns Gordon will have his suspension reduced from season-long to 10 games because of the stage he was in: 4th violation equals 10 games.

Decision time, does he deserve to ride on my bench for nine weeks?

#Browns Gordon is getting no special treatment, lg source says. Just going by terms of the new policy. (4th violation equals 10 games).

I went and picked up Gordon earlier this week. Now with all this news, and the fact that I already have Calvin Johnson, everyone in my league hates me lol!

One of the benefits I see to this for Jordan is at least it'll get his butt off the coach. According to his reaction to the suspension, it didn't seem like his motivation was they gym or staying in shape. I hope I was wrong in my speculation that he preferred playing the position of couch potato, but it didn't seem to be the case. FWIW, at least this early action might help in prolonging the deterioration of his fake balloon muscles.

Once player reps vote within hour or so, names of those reinstated players will be made public. In double-digits not expected to exceed 20

Guy picked him up in my league but only 5 bench slots.

Not sure how he holds him for 8 more weeks without dropping some valuable starters.

#Browns Josh Gordon's DWI hearing is Nov. 18 in Raleigh, N.C. If he's convicted, that would be 2 more games out for a total of 12.

Dolphins better have packed a Dion Jordan jersey for their trip to Buffalo.

Not sure if this is going to work-out. We have to release someone who is with the team in Buffalo? or 2 players. Get him out there and on the field to play even if special teams? Going to take a guess Philbin will not do anything till week three if suspensions are removed. If it was a home game maybe a different approach.

Per source, NFLPA player reps are having a heated discussion about drug policy. No guarantee it passes.

Won't be surprised if Denney is one of the players holding it up. He is a mormon and is against the changes and has said his teammates fate won't effect his decision.

If suspensions are lifted effective immediately then we would be forced to cut 2 players regardless if Jordan and Jones were going to play…they would have to be added to the 53 immediately I would presume. They could still be inactive for the game though...
