Can we integrate some sort of spell checker. I am horrible at it and so are some others would be nice if we could do it through the forums


See at least i try to help find a solution rather then complain :D

It's been tried... albeit quite some time ago...
It was found that it slowed the site down too much. It's a great idea, if it wouldn't degrade the site's performance...
 
if we had a spell checker, all these forum police would come in an have a smart-*** remark everytime anybody spelled something wrong, and then they would further insult them by saying if you aren't smart enough to use a spell checker, then you aren't smart enough to have an opinion.

If you really want to spell check yourself, you could try writing your messages in your word processor and then pasting them into the message box on the forum.
 
Yeah but I'm lazy.. I'm trying to get someone else to do work to make my life easier...(UGHHH that is so typical american isn't it :rolleyes: )
 
As Wharfy pointed out, the load on the server caused by that little function would be enormous.

Personally, I prefer to use either Word or dictionary.com rather than have 15 minute page load times :yes:

:shakeno: Actually NO! :D The american worker is the most productive in the world. America didn't become the worlds most productive nation and only superpower by being lazy. :lol:

Now off to the political forum with this matter. :lol:

if a person didn't spell something wrong once in a while, he/she wouldn't be normal!;)
