The most likely reason is that Tait's wife didn't like Miami. If Tait had hated Wanny or had issues with the team on other levels he wouldn't have flown in his wife later. Even the reports up until his wife got here said that it looked like we were signing Tait. Then his wife arrives, they go looking at neighborhoods and Tait decides to fly to Chicago.
