WTF is going on??? I hope this doesnt happen. He needs to prove nothing more. Come on now, gesh 1st it was Selvie, then Mays and now maybe Spikes..bs:boohoo:

Maybe he went to school to do more than JUST play football.....like, say......GETTING AN EDUCATION???? :ponder:

Damn, hope not. Especially if this FO is thinking about getting him (not implying they are, im just hoping they are)

If he needs only one more year of college, you can get that any time. If he is a projected first rounder, he would be foolish to risk it and go back another year. If he's not, the money isn't worth it to enter the draft.

If he does go back though, you can pretty much just hand the trophy to Florida again. That team looks sick next year.

he's not a high first rounder and no matter what happens he'd be no higher than the 3rd LB on the board. Tebow staying has made him consider staying as well (that's how much the Gators love Timmy T)

He can improve his draft status, possibly as high as a top 10 pick. Plus, the real world comes soon enough, let him enjoy college. Oh yeah, the education thing is a good idea too.

channing crowder part 2. was destroyed by the oklahoma oline vs the run game.they made a highlight film out of pushing and decleating spikes all over the field.

no thanks

The only guys Florida are losing would be Tebow, Spikes, Harvin and Louis. This team will be #1 again next year and I believe Tebow is coming back, so if Spikes went back aswell holey crud what a sick college team.

Then again it didn't work out for USC did it!

I agree, I saw nothing special from him during the National Championship Game. He may be staying in school because he is not a first round pick in 2009.

He went to Florida partly because Tebow committed to UF. So it is fitting that he would stay with Tebow now staying. Harvin may come back too. he is no lock to be a first rounder with his injury problems over the year and can maybe prove some of those injury doubters wrong with another healthy college season as well as cementing his legacy as one of the most versitile college players of all time on offense along with Tebow. Then again, he could get another injury and plummet. But that team will be so dangerous with those 3 coming back it is almost too scary to think of what might be coming everyones way. Florida might have th ebest chance to go undefeated next season than it ever has had with all the coaching changes that happened in the SEC and the rebuilding processes of LSU and UGA.

This would suprise me. I have heard he is trying to get money up to help his brother/best friend get out of prison or something and he needs to go to the NFL.

Money isn't everything . . . man I would also struggle to leave a college like UF to go with the hassle of the NFL.

He is a first round pick now, he will be next year. Either way he is not going to be a top 10 pick.

I admire him for his descision, but, dude...You may only have one shot to become a millionare. Once you get your loot, then, go back to school at your lesiure.

Is that film on youtube?

if Spikes stays for his senior season then I won't frown upon his decision

Jasper Brinkley is always around and he can knock the snot out of someone too. I feel and surely hope that Brinkley may shed some weight maybe drop down to the 250-255lb. range that way he'll be just as quick as he is now being as though he was a year removed from an ACL injury which normally takes 2 years to fully recover from. Not only that but the weight dropped will cause less strain and stress on the bad knee.

i would say that Tebow staying for his senior year is probably the only reason Spikes will/would be staying for his too...i say that because i read an article where they met each other on a recruiting trip to Alabama and Spikes liked and thought enough of Tebow that he said he'd go to whatever school Tim went to...and the rest as they say is history...making the Gators and Gator Nation very happy...
