I am going to look at this season as the glass being half full. Obviously we don't have a chance at 8-8 moreless making the playoffs, but lets look at the postives of that. Obviously we will get a high draft pick in the first round, and 3rd. I am looking at Andrew Walter, Dan Orlovsky, and Cadalac Williams. Another huge positive is this season will be bad enough to cut ties with the whole Wanstedt regime. Lets face it if your a coach Miami wouldn't be that bad of a place to go. We have the whole season for this very young offensive line to get better. Returning WRs of Chambers, Boston, Booker, and Randy Mac. Still a very strong D. Plug in a good RB, and QB, and we could be looking at the next coach of the year. We also have to face it guys we are the most spoiled group of fans in the NFL. We haven't had a losing season in over 10 years, and only 2 in the last 20. It was bound to happen, so lets hope the front office can make the best of it.

This is where i stand Dejesus, what is the diff if we go 10-6 and out again? does anyone here really think we had a chance after Ricky quit? I mean, cmon man. You just dont take a hit like that and go to the playoffs with your star offensive player quitting.
Screw the media, they are a bunch of pigs. I am looking for improvement like Randy Mcmicheal, who should be the next guy signed IMO. I am looking at guys like Will Poole and Pope who are playing lights out when they get there chance. If this team had a great line, none of this would be happening, so lets look to a future where we could get a great HC and coaching staff and get an Oline and build from scratch with great guys like Zach and JT and Madison, chambers, and Mcmike who will be dolphins till the end.

Exactly it's a win win situation really.

I doubt we'd be looking at a QB in the draft. More than likely, AJ Feeley would get at least one more year to prove himself unless he shows absolutely no signs of improvement. In any event, Walter and Orlovsky are 2nd-3rd round guys.

I would think we'd be looking for a superstar tackle; offensive or defensive, it doesn't matter. Both look like needs right now.

Depends. If McIntosh pans out he's signed for 5 or so years. Then the decision is whether they think Carey will pan out at RT or will be moved to Guard. DT's are a scary pick in the draft and I would hope they try their damndest to drop down in the first round to pick up more draft picks and try a DT in the middle to late middle of the round if they were going DT.

We wont draft a QB in the first round. I think we draft for depth at Dline or draft a RB, depending if we sign a FA one or not.

How can people even talk about drafting anything else besides OL at this point? Sundays game proved that the defense is good enough to win many ballgames....and the offense has some bright spots to it.....but the OL more than negates any of the positives on this side of the ball. I hate to be in the position where you have to "draft for need"...but this team is never going to get better til this component is addressed, as our front office has ignored it for too long. I say the first 5 picks this year are all OL and let's hope 3 of them turn out to be solid players.

A new coach and/or GM isnt going to spend a high pick drafting a QB right off the bat, especially with all the trouble we have on the line. If we get anybody worth their salt they will build the foundation first and then address the skill positions later. Besides, Feeley may turn out OK before this season ends.
