He said, "We need to get a CB. If we don't we are in trouble. I know they don't want to spend money on what's out there, but they gotta do something."

This player liked Phil Buchanon as an option. I don't agree. I think he's solid, but I'm not sold he's worth 6 million per year type player. It's been reported the Fins have interest.

What are the best options in your opinion? Do you take a chance on Dre Bly? I feel he's better than Phillip Buchanon throughout his career.

I know he had a tough season, but just like Andre Goodman will learn...

When you're on the opposite side of Champ Bailey you're going to get a lot of ball thrown your way.

Will discuss this on the show tomorrow. For those that want to get into to it on the air you can call between Noon-3pm @ 888-790-3776, text at 74965 or email me sedano@790theticket.com

We won't strictly talk football, but your thoughts are always welcome.

:thanks:

Spend the money on Ronald Bartell or Leigh Bodden who the organization is rumor to beinterested in.

Spot on, Sed. Problem is not only do we need a quality starter but we also need quality depth too. Our weakest position on the team as of right now.

Yeah That^^^^

Are either of those guys 6 million dollar players in your opinion? I'd probably say no at first glance. I understand the market is what it is (sorry for the Saban verbage), but I would hate to make the mistakes other teams make. Which, is pay top dollar for mediocre FA talent.

Jorge, we have Jason "Crap" Allen currently the only thing worthwhile on the roster after Will Allen. First day of the draft will consist of atleast 2 corners....No question.

No question I agree whole heartedly as far as them drafting a guy or 2, but they do need to add someone in FA.

I just feel like this regime is smart enough to not overpay for guys generally. But, they did pull a Wilford on everyone last year.

Mcfadden would be a great pick up because he is young. Bucannon has interest me for a while I think he will slide in the 3-4 million per year range and can be a return man as well.

just mindboggling how this FO is acting when they know we have to battle a pass happy NE and we have 1 starting caliber CB. i understand a good pass rush is like a band-aid, but when you have a gash, a band-aid aint good for ****

I've always liked Bly but I'd be worried about signing a guy who didn't have a very good year last year, AND will be going into his 12th season. He's more likely to be worse then he is to be better next year.

I would love to have McFadden if they could get him at a reasonable price. I don't have any idea what he is going to cost but he's a solid player.
