This just shows the Fins offseason report as of yet.

Just picked up a Sporting News Draft Magazine today when I was flying down to Miami and it kept me more than occupied. Has a list of players and an analysis of 400+ players.

For those of you who like scouting the players yourself before the draft its a great magazine to get. It has team by team analysis on needs and who they should consider looking at in the draft along with a round by round player chart where they think the players will be going.

Although, it seems to be a week or two old because the updated draft boards seem a bit different from the one they have in the magazine.

I definitely recommend it though.

I read Sporting News draft magazine and a few things were a little outdated...they hadn't mentioned the Cassel trade from the Patriots to KC, and a few other big transations, but they do a good job with team needs and the top draft prospects at each position. Sporting News is great covering baseball and so so with football. Lindy's draft magazine also is out and is pretty decent. Pro Football Weekly's Draft Guide is the best one in my opinion:

I remember back in 99...I think it was TSN who had us taking Edgerrin James...I was a bit dumbfounded, there was no way that he was going to fall that far.

PFW is the only way to go.

Great magazine, used to be anyways. I haven't followed any of the printed draft publications in about 10 years due to the availability of internet reports.

When I used to read the draft publications, Street & Smith, Joel B... Pro Football Weekly, The Sporting News, and admittedly Mel Kipers Draft Book were my favorite (I actually ordered it and also subscribed to Dolphin's Digest back then).

I think Joel B.. died a few years ago. Is Street & Smith still around? That's were I first heard about Mark Duper and his 4.29 speed!

After Joel B passed away PFW draft has been sub-standard in my humble opinion.

I got this mag really dont care for it there is another one out there i skimed through that looked pretty good I forgot what one though
