Should the sports bars with the old dishes be able to pick up the game from local affiliates?

Doubtful. I don't know how satellite dishes work but I wouldn't think you could pick up a local broadcast THAT far away....

where's a place with a giant dish in Los Angeles?

Not DirecTV, that won't cut it.

In LA, there is Mr. Pockets in Manhattan Beach.

Mr. Pockets couldn't pick up the Tennessee game last year, neither could nationals by Anaheim Stadium. I think we're screwed.

Whats happening at Mikes in Jersey tomorrow? Will the game be on???

anywhere in or near gainesville florida that will get it?

That had nothing to do with their ability to pick up the feed from the local affiliates. It was due to the fact that it was on a Saturday and the feeds were being scrambled due to NCAA rules. I don't believe that will be a factor for a Friday game.

Cool. And Mr. Pockets has a dish? Not the DirecTV dish but the giant one.

I believe Grunions has a dish also (that's like across the street there).

Like I posted before, the game will be beamed back to KC on a wild feed. Likely satellites are:

G3, G4, G7, T6

Anyone know anywhere is Orlando that has a big dish??

We have no hope for the game on TV. Last year when the Hurricane changed the game time, I went to almost every bar in Orlando and none of them got it. They tried, but couldn't pull it off. We are just going to have to listen on 105.9.
