Cortland Finnegan has made headlines everyday in camp. This signing was probabaly the one I had the most question marks about when it came, but right now he appears to be shinning. It seems to be making Taylor and Davis better players too, knowing they have to be pretty good to start over this guy.
Yea, I noticed that too, and I especially was wondering about this highlighted comment...."It was a problem overall with everybody not just me last year. Coach (Bill) Lazor is doing a good job staying on him. He’s progressing and hopefully when I get back out there I can just go right in the stride.”
Staying on him? Sounds like he is throwing the entire blame on Tannehill, and saying he is hoping Lazor can do something with Tannehill's failure.
Maybe Wallace should stop worrying about who's fault it is, stop deflecting the blame, and actually make the type of plays his huge salary demands him to be making.
Tannehill definitely has trouble hitting Wallace on the deep ball. But most retired QB's say it takes more than 1 year to get in sync with truly elite speed.
Also, Wallace did his share of dropping the ball too. This is one of those things that would benefit from spending an offseason together gaining chemistry.
