### Mike Pouncey and Samson Satele took snaps at both center and guard today, and the Dolphins remain very intrigued by the idea of Pouncey moving to guard, at least for now. But Samson Satele cautioned it’s not definite.
One reason it’s not a sure thing is because of health issues. Though Satele practiced, he was limited today with a fibula injury. Shelley Smith, working his way back from a knee sprain, also was limited.
The Dolphins want to get their five best linemen on the field Sunday and Satele at center (if healthy) and Pouncey at right guard would seem the best way to achieve that. But if the Dolphins feel Satele isn’t at full strength because of injury, then Pouncey could play center. Smith's health also will be factored into a decision.
### Even though the Dolphins named Jason Trusnik a starter on the depth chart, Jelani Jenkins continues to work as the first-team weakside linebacker and appears likely to start, health provided. Jenkins was limited in practice with an abdominal injury.
Trusnik has played all three linebacker positions in NFL games but has spent the least time at weakside linebacker.
### One reason the Dolphins signed receiver Damian Williams is the uncertainty of Brandon Gibson’s status for Sunday. Though Gibson said this week he plans to play Sunday, he missed two practices with a hamstring injury.
### Cortland Finnegan (neck injury) also sat out Wednesday's practice. Jamar Taylor would play more if Finnegan cannot.
