Sports Illustrated: lydon murtha adamant incognito never bullied martin

Great article. Gives good insight to people who have never been part of a locker room. Cogs is being run over backed up and run over again. There is something else going on with Martin and hopefully will come out with NFL investigation.

So that vegas trip was actually his cut he didn't want to pay because it he canceled...WTF????

Well thats his take on it but who knows if Martin ever wanted to go and if he didnt go why should he pay at least in his mindset.

Martin is a psycho, either a schizoid personality or just depressed

Well it wont seem both players are not right in the head

Thanks for the link!!!!

What a great insight from someone who was there in the thick of it last year. It's finally nice to hear from real players that are a part of the locker instead of the pundits and media talking heads.

The 15k was my issue and that has been solved. Jon Martin has clearly allowed this to be misrepresented. Shame on him. This story has really got the media back tracking and I am sure there are a lot of pissed off writers right now.

A tip of the hat to Lydon Murtha for giving us a look inside the OL room.

You commit to it and everything gets paid for you still have to pay once everything is booked. My friends and I had to back out of a trip on Labor Day weekend and we still had to pay.

Whatever the story maybe be... I doesn't really look like extortion to me...

After reading that article I am totally on Incognitos side. The fact that the Dolphins suspended him is a joke.
The suspension was political. Unfortunately, politics within and without his organization is a major part of Philbin's job and what he get's paid for.

Murtha is saying he verbally committed. Obviously the response can be the ever popular "prove it" "recording" blah blah blah, but this represents a logical explanation.

I'm hearing all this praise but this is still the same guy who got bounced out of Nebraska, got bounced out of Oregon after a week, got bounced off the Rams, played a year in Buffalo after which they wanted nothing to do with him, and is not involved in this mess. There's a dichotomy here that's very hard to explain.

No, the suspension makes all the sense in the world from a business standpoint ...limit your liability. It's always about money and this is no exception.

He says the staff knows everything that goes on. If it comes out Philbin lied about knowing, he's in trouble
Missed that but just went back and saw it. Damn that's not good for Joe.
