You see?? This goes to show how little you so-called Dolphin fans know. Lydon Murtha IS A LIAR!!!! Lydon Murtha if some of you may recall was claimed after Detroit waved him in 2009. Sparano claimed him in late August of that year. In 2011 he was supposed to be the starting RT. But because Long was rehabbing Murtha played LT until Long was ready to assume the LT job and Murtha would then shift to RT. Murtha then suffered a back injury and was placed on IR forcing the Dolphins to sign our good friend Marc Colombo. Now here's where the lies start. He said Martin was drafted to play LT from the start WE HAD JAKE LONG!!! He talked about how Martin was a standoff. Really ?? Now let's look at the timeline. Martin was drafted in April of 2012 while that whole time Murtha was Rehabbing from a back injury. The week after the draft all the rookies come in for a couple of days and run around in shorts no veterans are present. After that no player drafted out of the Pac-10 can participate in ANY OTAs or Minicap until his class graduates so there is no way Murtha and Martin could have crossed paths during that time. 3 weeks after camp opens Murtha was cut because Martin was going to be the RT. So when you add the timeline, how would Murtha know SO MUCH about Martin unless it came from his former College Roommate Richie Incognito ??? If you all were true fans who really follow this team, you would also see through this kid's lies.

Murthta was trying to sound like he had firsthand knowledge of all this even though like we all know he was only around the both of them as players for a short time

Murtha sounds like an idiot.

On the one hand he says nothing was happening, and he is adamant about that...

but then he says that the coaches knew all about it and they are lying which doesn't make any sense

What I take from this is not only that Martin was wrong, but Philbin could be in a lot of trouble

but martin didnt say anything to anyone. his body language was saying "not interested" and people were trying to get his azz/mind turned around. thats how I read it.

If the dude doesnt say anything to anyone, how can anyone read his mind? He clearly set himself up for a lawsuit. He is living with his parents right now in LA. That pretty much tells ya where this is going and in the words of Rich Eisen, this benefits no one.
