Obviously if he came here, it would only be 'til Culpepper was healthy, but does anybody really want this guy? Likely too high of a pricetag, and a guy with a reputation of having a fragile personality... meh.

i missed it i guess its gonna be on the pti big finish i see dolphins on there

If he came in knowing he was the backup, and accepted a backup's salary, then I'd take him. If not, he can play elsewhere.

It was classic ESPN- just trying to make you tune in.

Clayton was discussing backup QBs- said we are interested in Griese, Maddox, Harrington and Collins.

So basicly Clayton said we are interested in every QB out there.

Harrington would be a Good back-up and give him a Chance to learn for awhile! I would really like it if we signed him! The only one we could sign cheaper is Maddox and that would be depressing!

Basically- although the Chiefs are considered the favorites for Harrington an the Ravens for Collins.

They are all sort of waiting to see what happens with the last available starting job (Oakland), although that is likely going to Aaron Brooks.

Aaron Brooks would be a good backup. I think he got shafted in N.O. if he accepts his role and is not too pricey. He has a storng arm would excell in the new offensive scheme.

Hmm a young guy who kind of sucks against an old fart who sucks major ***?

Kind of sucks? No he does suck, he is just as bad as Ryan Leaf.

We should go for Brooks or Maddox both are good back ups IMO.

Brooks, Griese, Collins and Harrington...

Slowly, the backup QB market is looking better.

Honestly, Harrington would be the best option out there. his time in Detroit shouldnt have any effect on where he goes now, they dont know how to use qb's up there. Seriously when was the last one? hell they took Scott Mitchell in FA after he played "decent" for us in the abscense of Marino, then killed him. Harrington comes to the fins, signs a 1 or 2 year deal and hits the FA market next year out of the gate and he would be better off. He has an opportunity to come in and start for a real team until Cpepp gets back.

Still, i think he goes to KC anyways.

re:

The only thing that I think would suck is that if Harrington started for Miami, and went undefeated or played well andhad amazing numbers, and then lost his job just because Culpepper was good to play. It would be like what the Bears did to Kyle Orton last year. Sure, his numbers weren't outstanding, but the kid won and got them into the playoffs (Well, the defense got them in,he just didn't keep them out). Harrington is capable of some big things in the NFL, I think he's got all the tools to do exactly what Jake Plummer did when he got to Denver. After acclimation, he can win and win a lot. I'm saying, whoever lands this guy is going to be Happy and glad they spent the money.
