Is he really better than Greenwood? I hope he is because I am not sure Moore is so great, Pope and Jenkins have shown more potential than Moore, possibly because of Moores injury prone NFL career. I know that they all play different backup positions, but they were all drafted for their versitility and ability to find the ball. Spragan is big and fast but is he consistant? The Broncos dumped him for some reasons besides money? Crowder could be the Dolphins X factor if injurys occure at LB(Seau?), and he stays healthy with those bionic knees of his. Go Fins................ PS, Seau is great and is a true football pro player with alot of class.

I saw Donny Spragan play a few games for the Broncos at Invesco Field....I am not sure if I would say he is as good as Greenwood but I always thought he played hard....I think it is a good pickup for the Phins.

I think he's more of a depth guy but not a "back-up" meaning he could start and play hard if needed to. I hope Eddie Moore wins the starting job.

Jenkins does not have more potential than Moore, I dont even think Jenkins will make the team

Far from Miami meaning that if i do not see Moore on TV than I have no idea how he plays. Now that the fins are 4 and 12 and are not on TV except for the Hall of Fame game. I am --cked with out NFL ticket.:evil::evil:

So true...

I think Crowder starts at some point. Yes, he was a middle linebacker in college. But we've seen Saban's desire for players to learn multiple positions.

Morlon Greenwood was'nt any good anyway...the next big play he makes will be his first.

I do. Thats why I posted the question. I wanted to know if we had traded up or if Spragan was a backup. Just because you post 3000000 posts does not mean you know the Fins from a rats @ss.

...Nick Saban said "we will play the best players at the best positions."

Channing Crowder will start if he proves worthy in training camp. He is strong, can play the run, etc... So, if he impresses in TC, I think you could see him start at SAM for the season opener.

Wow, dude. I know you did not just question my knowledge of the Fins.

:shakeno: I know you meant no harm, but don't ever do that again.

I agree that Greenwood sucked.

if i remember right, spragen was one of saban's 1st pickup's. and shannahan said that spragen was one of the smartest players he has ever been around. i think saban likes players who play their responsibilities. might be a perfect fit for the system. but who knows until they play the games.

Crowder is learning to play inside right now. My bet is that they are grooming him as Seau's/Zach's replacement right now. Spragan while he didn't accumulate as many tackles as Greenwood did have more game changing plays then Greenwood.
