We have the 3rd worst passing attack in the league. Ted Ginn is riding the pine. Teams realize that if they blitz we've got no answer. I think the only way we can continue to win games is spread out the offense a little.

I'm not a fan of the spread at all, in fact I think it's ruining college ball but Chad needs to get something going and I think if we give him some 3 WR sets with Henne under center on first and second down. It would also force Opposing defenses to spread out and open it up for our running game a little out of a formation other than the wildcat. Plus it would give guys like Ted Ginn and Davon Bess a chance to make some plays in space.

Again, I'm not saying that I want us to come out looking like the Patriots offense. I want to see Chad have more options. I want to see us run the ball with Chad on the field so that our PA fakes are more effective. I want to see Ronnie and Ricky have some more room inside. I think some 3WR and maybe a couple 4WR sets on 1st and 2nd down would keep opposing defenses from loading the box and a lot of our problems on offense would be solved as a result. I think it's an aspect of offense that we should explore, what do you guys think?

they got big set happy the last few weeks and its good that the jets rocked it because it will get them to spread it out a little more.

With our limited talent at WR, I like the idea of splitting the TE's out wide.

In formation, it's be a standard Single-back, 4 WR set. Only, instead of having your #1 and 2 WR's on the outside, you have them in the slots with the TE's outside. Haynos and Fasano have both struggled in the passing game this season, but their size does present problems - especially in the case of Haynos. You'd also get Bess, Cam, or Hartline working the slots - where they're most comfortable (though, Hartline seems alright on the outside). Especially essential to this idea: it's a base or power personnel set. So, you either get LB's and Safeties covering the WR's in the slot, or you have them covering the TE's outside.

when will we address our wr woes ? will it be after the season or after the jets and bills win 2 or three superbowls. I am a little edgy because this fron office did nothing to really set us apart from the afc east rivials.
