I think this should officially put the Kibosh on the Wild Cat. Let's face it, Ronnie WAS the Wild Cat......

Time to go 5-wide and spread it out.

Let Henne show off that cannon, and showcase his ability. I know our WRs are below average, but it'll much more difficult to cover each of them if we bring 4 or 5 receivers on a play.

Henne can be a star in this league, he just hasn't had the chance to fully exhibit it. Now's the time.

I wouldn't complete scrap the Wildcat but without Ronnie back there, I just don't see anyone else running it with the same effectiveness. Let's air it out a little and have Camarillo, Bess and Ginn go deep....maybe Ginn will learn how to catch a long pass without flinching and having it bounce off his face mask? It sucks losing Ronnie, but it is what it is.

they even talked about it on nfl network. they said when pat white takes the snap, it's not the wildcat anymore, it's the "pistol" or shotgun formation. so it's not just me. it's anyone that knows anything about football. it's a fact.

I wouldn't mind seeing Bess, Camarillo and Ginn lined up, just to spread things out a little. I just don't really trust Ginn/Bess with catching the ball. I am sure Sparano and Henning will open it up. We don't have too much to lose now with Ronnie done for the year.
