The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports the St. Louis Rams have received permission to interview Miami Dolphins offensive coordinator Scott Linehan about the team's vacant head coaching position. Linehan could speak with the Rams as early as Friday, Jan. 6

Now this one does not surprise me. His offensive scheme is perfect for the Rams. I had my doubts about the Texans, but I'm holding my breath on this one.

Hate to say it, but with all these interviews, we can all say adios to Linehan now, he's gonna be a head coach.

Funny thing is that about 7 or 8 weeks ago most of this forum would be celebrating his departure. Now everybody is nervous about him leaving. My how the wind blows. :)

yup with a 8 head coach openings, definitely would be shocked if he doesnt end of a head coach somewhere.

I wouldn't put much into it honestly. St. Louis has already stated publicly that they were leaning towards a defensive minded coach. This may just be them reacting to him interviewing with Houston. This way they leave no stone unturned so to speak. I really think Ron Rivera will end up in St. Louis to be honest.

All I can say is that I wish Linehan the best of luck where ever he is. Hopefully we will have him back in Miami for a second year, but it's not looking that way.

Well...Aside from Linehan,They better interview a minority or they will be brought up on charges...

Mods, can we start a Linehan Interview section? kinda like that draft section.... haha

okay so I say we get Norv turner running the offense :dolphins:

Are ya laughing because you think its a joke? Cause its a very possible reality... Norv Turner was at his prime as an OC...

I'm really not too worried if Linehan goes. I was never a big fan because he has a tendency to make some really obvious, boneheaded calls just to showcase Gus. Someone will have to make him great offer though, since he makes 800K and has few headaches here.
