They needed to do this. Steven Jackson is the future of that team, and with Marshall getting older it needs to be done.

Thiis has to be Marshall last year playing football. He was starting good early in the season but as you see he started to be worse as the season went on.

Faulk just signed a cap-friendly 4 yr deal. Doubt this is his last year.

This will extend Marshalls career. Coming off the bench, spelling Jackson. Faulk would be a nice change of pace, 3rd down back. Also shows that he is a team guy willing to take a reduced roll like this.
