It's amazing how we went from having no recievers to not having enought room on the roster to keep all of them. I think we are set now at WR. I don't know if that Williams kid can play reciever, but he sure can return kicks. I hope we can find a spot for him on the roster, can really be a big help in the field position battle. What you guys think?

not quite stacked, camarillo still hurt, we do not know what turner could bring to the so called table, and just cuz he could return kicks doesn't make him a good wr, he needs to run routes

good point
i don't think he is saying we have a great situation like the cardinals
but we are in a situation where we most likely have to carry 6 (no way we carry seven)

1Ginn
2Bess
3Camarillo
4Hartline
4Turner
6London
6Armstrong
6Williams (returner)
Wilford (TE)

My prediction is that the following players make the roster at wide receiver: Ginn, Bess, Camarillo, Turner, Hartline, and Williams. I would love to get a pick for London, but I do not see that happening.

They cut London, he get's claimed. Williams can be stashed on the practice squad. :my2cents:

Williams doesnt really benefit from being on the practice squad. He is a returner. He will not climb our depth chart. Either we use a roster spot for a returner in which case he makes the team or we dont snd he is free to go somewhere else.

London can help the field position game by his special teams gunner role - tackling.

Williams can help the field position game by his ultra-fast return abilities.

I'm sure they have the data that helps support a decision on this one. We could always throw Cobb, Bess, or even Ginn back there for returns. Why not try Hartline?

I liked what I saw from Hilliard and would hate to lose him, especially with an aging Rickey on board. He was active on special teams and ran the ball with authority.

Anyway, the bottom of the roster is going to be faced with some hard decisions. It's been many many camps since that has happened. Hopefully Parcels sticks around for one more season and the roster upswing takes another giant leap.
